HOLORIDE SALZBURG

Audi and Holoride wanted to give thousands of visitors of the Salzburg Festival a glimpse at the future of in-car entertainment. The VR experience should focus on Salzburg, be informative, educational and smooth. FreshFX implemented an immersive VR experience that combined 3D worlds and audio-visual contents with a car-movement-synchronized journey. Parts of historical Salzburg were recreated in 3D to build the map for the journey through musical highlights of the various periods. We combined the content shown with relevant data of the car,such as acceleration, steering and navigation data of the route. Besides stimulating the visual and acoustic senses it also integrates the natural g-forces of the experience.

Contribution:  Supported the production of an immersive in-car VR experience combining 3D environments, audiovisual content and vehicle-motion-synchronised playback. My work focused on the technical preparation of content for a responsive real-time experience.
